I want a personal firearm permit mainly for general self-protection. I run a lemonade stand by myself, and sometimes things can get sketchy when I'm alone. I have been robbed several times now, where all my hard earned money was robbed from me after a hard work day. I must be able to defend myself. Second, I often go swine hunting with friends in Flint County and sometimes Bayside. And having a rifle for the ability to hunt is a necessity.

I plan to use the permit for legal and responsible reasons only. It's mostly for defending myself against robbers, and just self defense in case something happens while I'm working alone at my lemonade stand or other stands. Aisde of the protection purposes, this permit will also allow me to carry rifles that are suitable to take down wild swine mostly seen in Flint County.

It is the responsibility of the Red County Sheriff's Department to include a background check of all applicants for a firearm permit. This check could involve interviews with family members, neighbors, or co-workers, past and present. This check will include a check of your mental and physical well-being both now and in the past. The law allows us to check complete criminal history, which includes local, state, and federal checks. Your signature below allows us to search all sources that contain information that would allow a complete and accurate background investigation.
I also certify that all information on my firearm permit, and this background information sheet, is true and accurate, knowing that any falsified information could disqualify me from obtaining the permit.
I also certify that the Red County Sheriff's Department has the right to revoke my Personal Firearm Permit for any circumstance, with legal authority. If I fail to abide by state laws or any regulations and protocols that are set out by the Red County Sheriff's Department, I hereby consent to the revocation of my Personal Firearm Permit.
