3.2 | Why do you wish to obtain a Personal Firearm Permit? (Minimum of 50 words):
As I recently moved to the Palomino Creek area with a friend of mine, I've noticed an intense increase of crime by the local 'gangsters', or so they wish to call themselves. I have been personally harassed multiple times, and held at knife point once. Although the police activity has been increased in the area, I admit, I'd feel much safer carrying a personal handgun for self-protection if need-be. I currently possess a firearm permit in the Russian Federation aswell.
3.3 | How do you plan to use your Personal Firearm Permit? (Minimum of 50 words):
I plan on purchasing a handgun to be on my holster constantly as the furthest means of protection. This will also ensure the safety of those around me, as robberies and other crimes are much less likely to occur when the attacker understands his victim is armed and could endanger his malicious plans. I will obviously keep my guns in check and clean, and also attend a shooting range regularly to practice and hone my skills.

It is the responsibility of the Red County Sheriff's Department to include a background check of all applicants for a firearm permit. This check could involve interviews with family members, neighbors, or co-workers, past and present. This check will include a check of your mental and physical well-being both now and in the past. The law allows us to check complete criminal history, which includes local, state, and federal checks. Your signature below allows us to search all sources that contain information that would allow a complete and accurate background investigation.
I also certify that all information on my firearm permit, and this background information sheet, is true and accurate, knowing that any falsified information could disqualify me from obtaining the permit.
I also certify that the Red County Sheriff's Department has the right to revoke my Personal Firearm Permit for any circumstance, with legal authority. If I fail to abide by state laws or any regulations and protocols that are set out by the Red County Sheriff's Department, I hereby consent to the revocation of my Personal Firearm Permit.
