3.2 | Why do you wish to obtain a Personal Firearm Permit? (Minimum of 50 words):
I've had a firearm permit for a long while before but I haven't renewed it last year. I believe the time has come to go back to the passion of having guns again. I'd like to take advantage of my right to the second amendment and put my firearms to good use legally as a lawful citizen of the United States.

3.3 | How do you plan to use your Personal Firearm Permit? (Minimum of 50 words):
I'd like to start sharpen my marksmanship again on the range for two purposes: Self defense and hunting. I live in a rural area where Sheriffs are mostly out of bounds and it would take time for them to respond to a 911. I have to be ready for any threats where I live as it's mostly unsafe here. On top of that, I'd like to get back to the hunting in the forest, which I used to do before, hence why I'm applying again.

SECTION 4 | DECLARATION OF LIABILITY

It is the responsibility of the Red County Sheriff's Department to include a background check of all applicants for a firearm permit. This check could involve interviews with family members, neighbors, or co-workers, past and present. This check will include a check of your mental and physical well-being both now and in the past. The law allows us to check complete criminal history, which includes local, state, and federal checks. Your signature below allows us to search all sources that contain information that would allow a complete and accurate background investigation.

I also certify that all information on my firearm permit, and this background information sheet, is true and accurate, knowing that any falsified information could disqualify me from obtaining the permit.

I also certify that the Red County Sheriff's Department has the right to revoke my Personal Firearm Permit for any circumstance, with legal authority. If I fail to abide by state laws or any regulations and protocols that are set out by the Red County Sheriff's Department, I hereby consent to the revocation of my Personal Firearm Permit.

Dear Mr. Hunter,

We have gone over your application and after some deliberation, we have decided to accept it. You are now urged to read over our Fiream Training Guide, State Of San Andreas Firearms Law and Firearm Permit Protocols. We urge you to read over all Protocols and Training Procedures to familiarise yourself with the rules.

You are now required to show up at the RCSD Dillimore Station in order to take an exam to ascertain your readiness. Please show up at the department and have the exam taken in at least 1 week or you will automatically fail it, and must re-do the application process.
