3.2 | Why do you wish to obtain a Personal Firearm Permit? (Minimum of 50 words):
Personal protection and hunting purposes. Along the lines of wanting to protect our land from people and I know our second amendment rights, the right of property, and the right to defend owned land. It's self-explanatory why I need this. These days you can never be too sure on who to trust and whose are out there to get you. Might as well be prepared or suffer the inevitable. I am fully aware of all the gun laws, as I previously owned a firearms permit.

To protect myself and my property. There have been a lot of crazy folks messing with me or my crops, especially now that the Blackburns have moved to Montgomery to try and earn our new digs and make name for ourselves, and to be closer to our dear partners, the Gunners as possible. I'm sure the department is aware of our family's existence, but me personally? I want to protect my aging brother and myself from whatever's out there. Oh, and to use it for hunting small to big games.

SECTION 4 | DECLARATION OF LIABILITY
It is the responsibility of the Red County Sheriff's Department to include a background check of all applicants for a firearm permit. This check could involve interviews with family members, neighbors, or co-workers, past and present. This check will include a check of your mental and physical well-being both now and in the past. The law allows us to check complete criminal history, which includes local, state, and federal checks. Your signature below allows us to search all sources that contain information that would allow a complete and accurate background investigation.
I also certify that all information on my firearm permit, and this background information sheet, is true and accurate, knowing that any falsified information could disqualify me from obtaining the permit.
I also certify that the Red County Sheriff's Department has the right to revoke my Personal Firearm Permit for any circumstance, with legal authority. If I fail to abide by state laws or any regulations and protocols that are set out by the Red County Sheriff's Department, I hereby consent to the revocation of my Personal Firearm Permit.
